Lift · gym.srikanthuppiretla.com
Lift is a personal training log, run by one person for himself and a handful of friends. It is not a company and there is nothing to sell, so this document is short and says what actually happens.
If you sign in with Google, we ask for three things: that you are signed in, your email address, and your name. Nothing else. We cannot read your Gmail, your Drive, your contacts or your calendar, and we do not ask for permission to. The email address is used to match you to your account. The name is used as your display name until you change it.
We do not receive or store your Google password, and we never ask for it.
On Cloudflare, in a database and file store belonging to this application. Progress photos are kept in private storage and are served only to you, through an authenticated request — there is no public link to a photo, and one cannot be created.
You. Accounts cannot see each other's workouts, bodyweight or photos.
The person who runs the server has database access, which is unavoidable for anyone self-hosting anything. That access is not used to read your training data, and there is no screen anywhere in the app that shows one person another person's log.
If you allow them, the app sends push notifications to end a rest timer. That needs a subscription token from your browser, which is stored so the server can reach that device. It contains no personal information and is deleted when you turn notifications off or sign out.
Ask, and your account and everything attached to it is deleted — logs, bodyweight, photos, the lot. There is no retention period and no copy kept afterwards, beyond whatever sits in a routine database backup until that backup rotates.
You can also export every set you have ever logged as a CSV from Settings, at any time, without asking anyone.
If this ever changes in a way that matters, the app will say so rather than quietly updating this page.
